FAVORITE TOOLS
Paint
The quality of the paint is very important. My favorite paints are Daniel Smith and Holbein because of the richness and depth of the color.

Paper
When you keep a watercolor sketchbook it is important to use archival quality materials. I prefer to paint on hot pressed block watercolor paper. Arches watercolor paper, created in 1492, is created using the same process as it was when it was made the first time. My favorite sketchbook is Stilman and Birn Zeta.
Pens
My favorite pens are Lamys. I use both the Safari and the Al-star with a medium black nib. I like Platinum Carbon black for outlining my sketches in my sketchbooks. I order my pens and ink from Goulet Pens.
